BG increase Old Click Energy 1-4 tariffs
Despite not yet announcing any new pricing on Click Energy 5, British Gas have changed the prices they charge for the older CE tariffs such as the CE4 I signed up to.
The new prices can be found here: http://www.britishgas.co.uk/products-and-services/energy/click-energy-prices.html
Based on average annual consumption of 20,500 kWh gas and 3,300 kWh electricity, the typical CE4 gas price rises £160 (26.5%) to £763 while electricity rises £50 (16%) to £360. CE4 is cheaper than the equivalent PG2009 for electricity by £93 but gas is more expensive by £58.
While CE5 may or may not increase at the same rate, this might point toward the trend.
