HI
I am looking at switching to Sky broadband due to budgeting as it is only £5 per month. As i currently have an isp mail account (From plus.net) i would lose this when changing.
Who is a good email provider that is not isp linked so if i change in the future i do not have to worry about changing email address again. Don't really want hotmail - any other suggestions??
thanks in advance

Nothing to stop you getting gmail/googlemail addresses whatever you decide. I have a few.
Although not the cheapest option, you can always buy your own domains (couple of quid a year depending where you buy) and either forward them to your free gmail accounts or pay for pop3 email hosting (I use fasthosts, their cheapest email package is £1.25/month)."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Gmail is great. Loads of storage, easy to use, really good junk mail filtering, you can send and receive attachments up to 20MB in size, and it offers POP and IMAP access so you can use it with desktop mail applications.0

I think I can still make Gmail.com addresses, well I could last time I tried even though it has now been banned in the EU.0

even if you cant make a gmail address you can make a google-mail address and tell people your address is gmail - it doesn't matter - will still go to your inbox.Everyone needs a volume control -

I generally used gmail in the past but since getting an iphone
I've gone to yahoo mail as they offer free push email. Both are free but the yahoo mails seem to get a little ad added at the bottom
