IMO ,I think trick or treating is an American tradition we can do without.It's not part of our tradition, there is need for it, there is nothing good about it. I was very pleased to read this about ASDA on the BBC website.
Supermarket giant Asda has banned teenagers from buying eggs, traditionally used as "trick or treat" missiles, in the run-up to Halloween.
I will not be letting my children trick or treat, if other parents feel the same and stop their children doing it, then it won't take off. Not always easy, but for the better good.....
