Imagine the posties surprise if they weren't packed very well, or if he tried to push them through the letterbox and the packet opened!!!

The speed my postman moves, if they escaped he wouldn't be able to catch them:confused:

IF anyone thinks of getting the Land snails..They take more looking after than you might think, they need to be kept in stable temps, be cleaned alot..etc etc etc

Also, I agree with hm71 - that they do carry viruses, and there can be flies very quick..

    btw dont have them anymore..

Oo and it doesnt hurt them in the post, I had mine ages ago and they were secured in a cake case tub with soil with holes then another box with holes, and they came special delivery. When they are babies they are tiny absolutley tiny so there okay.

    ;)

Maybe he is a bit friendly with your other neighbour, we've got a house down our road and the postman seems to always nip inside for a few minutes. Wonder what they are doing ....

if its illegal to post any live animal, why is you can buy live crickets etc to feed to reptiles, and many "tortoise shops" will post the animals to you? also there is a dog breeder in plymouth that ships worldwide!
