Can Anyone Tell Me If Gas And Electricity Companies Can Put Up Prices For People Who Are On Card Metres Because During All These Price Rises I Seem To Be Paying Exactly The Same As Before.

    Is it a card meter or a key meter you have?

    If a card meter the prices will only be changed when you get your next meter reading as the new prices are downloaded using the hand held device that the meter reader carries with them.

    Is you have missed meter readings or phoned them in you probably won't have had the new charges applied to your meter but will still be billed for them.
