Sold a lie - who to turn to?

I firmly believe I was sold a lie re invading Iraq due to WMD's . I'm pretty sure I have been ripped off - but not sure where to turn to for advice/compensation. Any suggestions welcome.

You should have done your homework first. There were plenty of alternatives you could have bought. You went ahead and bought the lie. You got exactly what you bought at a standard consistent with the supplier. I was actually at the distributors the very night that one of the employees resigned over not wanting to buy their own product so as a consumer you had every well publicised opportunity to not buy it. Your best course of action is to demonstrate your displeasure by going to a competitor for the next purchase.

I added a bit in terms of practical advice as well.

Thank you for your attractive answer. you spoke/wrote about going to another competitor. But I looked into that and discovered its a bit like crossing the road from Dixons into Curries - or is it Currys? - same difference on both counts - ie same management.

If you have a receipt for your purchase you can take it to your nearest local beauty spot for a refund. Ask to speak to the 'boss'.

If they refuse to help, point out that a previous customer, Dr David Kelly, has already set a legal precedent and you would settle for a similar compensation package.

You clearly have not done your research too well. A quick trip across the Channel would give you a very different management.

They do, as long as you can find them first of all.
