I'm ready for pulling my hair out - can anyone help clear my confusion
?
I'm currently on British Gas dual fuel (Click Energy 4). I've only been in my new house for a few months so not sure what my annual usage is exactly but I've guessed at 6000 units for elec & 1000 units for gas (pro rata on first qtr bill plus a bit more).
Not sure if I've done this right but I think this means my annual kwh will be 207700 & 11400 respectively (rounding it up a little bit).
I've been checking the online comparisions over the past few days & all say I'm on the cheapest deal already. If I was to cap the cheapest deal means paying 37% more than I am at the moment.
Hubby is getting me nervous (think the scaremongering is working) so I'm tempted to cap anyway but I'm panicking that my figures might be wrong & wondering what affect that will have.
Please can someone tell me if I've converted units to kwh correctly?
Anyone else on Click Energy 4 & are you staying put or changing supplier?
Thanks for listening to my frantic ramblings.
