Fix rate for Flat Sharing?

Hi,

I do flat sharing with two friends in London. Since the prices seem to go up soon I was wondering if it makes sense for us to cap the price as well. We are right now with E.ON. The main problem I see here is what happens if I do it as fixed rate and I will be stuck with the contract for 12 months and I had to move out at one stage. (You never know its flat sharing)

Do I have to take the fixed contract with me to the new place in such case? Is it wise to do so? Or do you foresee possible problems showing up later?

Many Thanks,
Houman

I suppose no one knows, if I personally would be bound to the contract or the actual property will be bound to the fixed price rate for 12 months, right?
