Peas in a Pod
Hiya,
You lot are seriously inspiring me to have a go at veg growing. Will have a start with lettuce and potatoes (it isn't too late is it?), but my question is - how easy is it to grow peas in their pods and when do I need to start? I loved them when I was younger but I never see them around now.
Hope you can help:rolleyes:

It is easy to grow peas, they came in all varieties, tall [like 5 foot] or bushy, the tall give higher yields generally
You could chance sowing some "early" ones now, you may just about get a crop before the winter, otherwise it is next spring sowing
Lettuce OK now, spuds, pushing it a bit, takes about 12 weeks or more to get a crop, but worth a goWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0
