Easy one they wont take your laptop.Sore point the cost of internet connnection would need to be justified or taken care of elsewhere.

As regards taking cash out for essentials & BR fees, that would be acceptable

Not sure that was neccessary at all.

Have you never heard of a change of circumstance?

It happens, that is life but sometimes you find that something that was very affordable suddenly becomes very unaffordable.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Well no idea where I get my perspective from then as I don't have any debt and I am not BR, or ever been BR but I do have a sense of kindness of not kicking a person when they are down.

This forum is for people faced with going Bk. None of them are allowed to do this unless they have received professional advice that this is the appropriate solution.

Many have been struggling for years to pay off their debts via DMP or IVA, although the latter are mostly mis-sold.

Once that decision is made, people are entitled to support as is anyone else on there forums. If you do not like that, then please do not bother to visit here. In that way everyone will be a lot happier.

  • Hi Diamond

I did the CCCS debt remedy too and which recommended BR. You should have got a unique reference number and they will email you within 24 hours with their BR helpline phone number for you to call (its a different number to the usual CCCS number). I found them extremely helpful and they talked me through filling in my forms.

    Take care

Ring your local court today to see a) what system they operate,as some are drop in,others are appointment only b)what sort of wait there is to do the deed. The courts seem to be very busy just lately;) with bc. Also might be worth asking how man copies of your SOA(bc forms) they need as this varies from 1-3 and from court to court. Any questions just ask away, there is always somebody who can answer any queries you might have.DX

Lol, my posts look rather silly without the posts I was replying to being there...mind you, it is better that those posts were removed.

And they deserved to be removed, they really were quite odious...they even kicked me into action to report them!
