Should I cap with E.ON?
Options
I'm currently on E.ON Energy plan, paying by £47 a month direct debit (currently @£30 in credit).
Current prices are
elec
Normal units up to 900 kWhs
19.2465 pence
Normal units
10.5525 pence per kWh
gas
Normal units up to 2680 kWhs
4.5696 pence
Normal units
2.9127 pence per kWh
I can switch to Price protection 17 or Energy saver 4 (both capped till oct 09), and pay the following;
elec
Normal units up to 900 kWhs
21.2625 pence
Normal units
11.6655 pence per kWh
gas
Normal units up to 2680 kWhs
5.31405 pence
Normal units
3.3873 pence per kWh
It works out to a 10% increase in electricity and a 16% in gas.
Should I switch?
Thanks
