Housing benefits

Hi,

I am recieving housing benefits, I am living in a hostel and having big troubles finding a flat to rent.
Any idea what I can do?
I am desperate to find something soon.

    Hi apppa,

    On you on the list for council housing, and have you contacted local housing associations? This would be a good starting point.

    Could I ask how old you are? If you are under 25, your potential HB/ LHA will only be for the average rent for a room in a shared house, so you may not be able to afford a flat.
