But the very next paragraph in the T&C says:

If the only child in the Family & Friends Railcard group is aged less than five years of age, the Railcard holder must purchase a discounted ticket for that child in order for the accompanying adult(s) to qualify for the discount on their tickets.

"ive worked in a large customers services department since I was born and so has everyone in my family and friends and i would never speak like that and since my brother is not a liar and actually a customer services managing director and my children are all customer services including my alter ego"

try writing to 'the station manager' at whatever station, and copy into the relevant rail firm's c/s dept, and heck why not- also the rail users council (unsure of address- may be on google).
