Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I have a scsi drive on my pc.
Because it is only 2GB I have bought a 9GB scsi to add.

I have tried putting it on the same ribbon lead as the origanal scsi drive (as one does with ide master and slave drive) but the pc is not detecting it.

Can you please help? THANKS
LINDA

  • Make sure each SCSI drive has a unique ID number (0-7 IIRC) - usually set via jumper switches on the drive.

Tell us the drive model number, and we can point you to the drive manufacturers' support pages showing you where to find the jumper switches and how to set them for a particular ID number.

you always need to make sure the final device in the scsi chain is terminated. Presumably there was a terminator on the original scsi disk.
