Please Please help me!

I am hoping someone can help me!

I recently sent off a Letter to Beneficial Finance asking them for my statements going back 6 years for a Credit Card Flexi-Account. Today I receved the statements, along with my cheque returned :D

As I look through the monthly breakdown, There are some things I dont understand, for example:

2 NOVEMBER - RETURNED CHQ FEE REFUND - £20.00CR
9 NOVEMBER - RETURNED CHQ FEE REFUND - £20.00CR
3 NOVEMBER - NSF CHK CHARGE ASSESS - £20.00
2 NOVEMBER - INTEREST CR ADJUSTMENT - £0.09CR
2 NOVEMBER - LATE CHARGE ASSESSMENT - £20.00
10 NOVEMBER - NSF CHK CHARGE ASSESS - £20.00
10 NOVEMBER - OVERLIMIT CHQ ASSESSMENT - £20.00
10 NOVEMBER - PAYMENT PROTECTION INSURANCE - £16.69

I understand the Interest Payment and the Payment Protection Payment as well as the Late Charge Payment, however I am curious as to why there are 2 payments Credited back into my account??
When I send a letter detailing the Credit Card Claiming, How do I work out what I am asking for back please?

any help gratefully received!

David

If they have been credited then you can't claim them as they in effect won't be charges if you got them back. Just claim for everything else.
  • Thanks for the reply.

So in my letter asking for the total amount I could claim back the:

NSF CHK CHARGE ASSESS - £20.00
    LATE CHARGE ASSESS - £20.00
    OVERLIMIT CHQ ASSESSMENT - £20.00

plus 8% interest added on to each item, to be repaid?

This is likely to be Not Sufficent Funds
This is when an item is, rather than bounced is paid which takes the account over an agreed or unagreed overdraft

    So yes it is reclaimable
