Help needed regarding goods not ordered

It apears under the amended act you have a right to keep them, and should contact trading standards for the demands for payment. that's what I would do.

I would have preferred to maintain a professional relationship with this company but they are actually quite incompetent. I think I will give them one more chance to issue a credit note and collect the goods but actually quote the act to them and see what happens.

Personally I would just contact the company that sent the goods to find out what has happened.

If they have been sent to you as unsolicited then get them to come and collect them and not bill you, and if they have been bought fraudulently by someone else, then it can be dealt with by the police.

At the end of the day, they are not yours as you did not order them and as long as they don't try and charge you for them it should be end of story regardless of whether you could legally keep them or not.
