DLA claim - how long for decision?

Really quick and easy question (methinks). Sent off Mum's claim for DLA yesterday - any rough guess as to how long before we hear back with a thumbs up (fingers crossed) or not.

It could be anything up to three months, depending on if they need to get additional information and how long people take to respond.

Hope it is a positive result x

And any award will be backdated to date they recieved it . So will be a good idea to ring them in a few days to see if they have recieved it and ask thm to confirm this in writing.Good luck

Wow we were very lucky-it only took just over 2 weeks from me submitting a claim to recieving the letter telling me that my son had been awarded DLA.
Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!
