wheres the sound???

I have burned an audio DVD, played it via nero and got an error message, audio plugin something or other and file would not play. aha! i tried winamp and nothing at all not even a picture, tried WMplayer (latest version) fantastic full picture crystal clear......................but no sound.
i tried the graphic equalizer to see if an audio signal was "visible" but none of the levels moved.
Q: is there anyway to find out if there is sound attached but i just cannot play it?
yes the sound on the computer is on (another sound file plays ok)

I believe there is a program called GSpot which can tell you if you are lacking any codecs for playing different files.I suppose that would tell you if there is sound.

I suspect that it's just an "empty" file....the sort of site you probably downloaded this from is normally plagued with them these days....

i dare say if i type gspot into any search engine my wife wont see me for days :j
