just having a whinge

I'm just having a whinge so forgive me venting my frustration on here.

I wanted to try selling a new widget and decided that rather than using my main id I would use a secondary id (although that id still has just short of 500 positive feedback at 100%).

My main id seems to go well, I sell things, people pay by paypal and i ship them out and leave feedback and get feedback in return, using this new id I seem to have found every slow payer and every problem going.

I've got one buyer who used BIN about 23 days ago, she didn't pay even after a reminder and it wasn't until I started the NPB on day 9 that she contacted me through the dispute centre to say she'd sent cash. I told her I don't accept cash and anyway it hadn't arrived so she promised an immediate cheque. 4 days later, no cheque so I emailed her again and she said it had been sent, 24 hours later she emails me to say could she have my address for payment. 4 days after that she asks for an invoice so she can pay!

I told her on Monday that she had 48 hours to get payment to me, since then she has requested my address again (and I submitted it in the dispute area so that it was visible and could not be lost again) and she still has not paid. She has well over 100 feedback so she must know what she is doing, although she has 2 neutrals for slow payment and three neutrals for selling faulty items and posting out slowly.

Another one won at the same time only contacted me after I started the NPB process, his cheque has also apparently been lost because he says he sent it in an old envelope and it may have gone to a friend instead (What???), I gave him the 48 hours to pay on Monday and I have had one grovelling response via the dispute area saying he is really really trying to pay but has been unwell and can't go to a postbox to send it.

Now, I've just got in from work to see someone else has BIN'd an item late this afternoon and wants it by Friday at the latest...even though my postage quoted is for second class mail and I've missed the post office for today.

Argghhh someone tell me it is all going to get better soon...

Thanks for the link Masonic, slight OT but do you guys agree with that websites info (looks a bit old) on Dissatisfied ebay customers:

    "But What If…

But nothing! There is no situation where you, as a seller, should get into any dispute with a buyer. Here are a few common situations and how to handle them..."

    Agreed, disagree?

I think the general idea behind what they are saying is ok, but they do seem to take it to an extreme. Sellers do not need a perfect feedback rating to do well and there are some people you just can't please, not to mention the ones that are out to get you! Some of the info does seem a bit inaccurate and outdated, for example, according to that site you are not allowed to have more than one user id.

    Duh!

:rotfl: I've seen that one! At least ebay are in touch with the needs of their users, eh.
