Scottish Power were being odd - first when I tried to sign up via Quidco it was giving 'connection closed' errors (even though the rest of the site was fine), then the fixed price tariff wasn't showing in the options it gave when you link through from Quidco. I've now signed up direct (and lost the £72 Quidco fee

Just posted this a separate thread--Scottish Power's fixed rate deals will close tonight (30/07) and I have reason to believe that British Gas is about to make an announcement also--either higher rates or end to fixed rate tariffs (if they have any--their regular rates are usually so high & their customer service so rubbish that I didn't consider them when setting up new supply accounts today).0
