What to do?!
Options
So far I have spent all morning on this!
I have found out our annual kWh consumption and keyed this into Energyhelpline and Moneysupermarket. Both are saying the same thing for capped suppliers (Eon, who I am also currently with), but one of them has a -£202 (Moneysupermarket) and the other (Energyhelpline) has -£552 "saving".
If I am keying in the same things, how can they be so different?
Also, if Energyhelpline is more accurate, will I actually be losing out by capping my fuel if I make a loss of £552?
To cap or not to cap?!
Any advice greatfully received!
Thanks.

Well, I switched to Eon's capped tariff, but I've been fretting all night whether I've made the right choice.
They said yesterday that our kWh per year was 18,038 (elec) and 24,104 (gas).
Our unit prices have gone from 17.682/10.6155 to 19.5405/11.7285 for Electricity (a rise of just over 10%), and 4.5696/2.9127 to 5.31405/3.3873 for gas (a rise of just over 16%).
I'm trying to cut down our outgoings at the moment, so I hate deliberately putting our prices up. We're paying £101 in total per month for dual fuel and I dread to think how much this will go up by. Do you think Eon will be able to say if I ring them and ask?
Thanks.0
