Hi,

I'm having to take a last minute trip to Chicago, and am desperately - but so far unsuccessfully - looking for a hotel for 7 - 11 August. (If necessary could be 7-10 August). Can anyone help? Ideally I want a downtown/loop area hotel for less than $150/night. There was one on Hotwire yesterday, but I just missed it. Are there any similar sites to hotwire?
(Nothing on Priceline either.) Anyone know any cute budget boutique hotels that aren't booked up?!

I went last year and from memory there is a guy on the Chicago Trip Advisor forum that has an excellent knowledge of the hotels in Chicago and Priceline descriptions.

WOW, less than $150 around the Loop at this late date, not sure I can help with that one. But, I can tell you that my favorite new hotel in that area is the Hotel Sax Chicago. I did check their rates on Orbitz for you and they have a great rate listed at $272. It's not under $150, but you'll love the hotel if you go.
I hope you can find something in your price range, but if not, try the Sax.
