Frustrated - Connecting 2 computers to internet

Have you tried plugging your pc into the router with a cable yet?
That same wireless box that your stepdad snapped the ariel off will probably have a network port on it, you just connect that to your pc and (considering your internet was working wirelessly and that your network card is enabled in windows) bobs your fathers brother, internet.
If that wireless box does not have a network port on it then it might be plugged into another box, check if that one has a network port, run the cable from that to your pc instead. As mentioned above the cable you need is called cat5 with rj45 ends.0
