Stoney17, you should have started a new thread for your question
Anyway, quick answer is yes. Without a valid MOT the insurance is invalid and you can't drive your car on the road unless you're going to a pre-booked MOT test or to have work done for the MOT at a garage.
Once you have your MOT then your legal again.
Slow answer is your insurance is NOT invalidated by a lack of MOT as described on any number of threads on here, which I am sure you can find as you found this one.;)0 -
Your insurance is not invalid, but you do know that you cannot drive the car on the road untill you have an MOT unless it is to get to the MOT (which must be prebooked). I would think you could get an MOT done before next week.
There is no reminder system for MOT's you have to remember try an appointment in your phone or somthing, you will get a sticker on the MOT cert to stick on the windscreen but these fall off after about a week!
Next MOT you can get done upto 1 month before the current one expires and maintain the expiry date.0
