My wife has just bought a Laptop but is struggling to find somewhere where she can use it comfortably. Are there any such things as mini laptop tables that will swing over the arm of our 3 piece suite chair so she can sit in comfort. Or something to go on her lap to put the laptop on as on her knees is too low?

Try a laptop stand such as (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Notebook-Laptop-Cooling-Stand-Holder-Pad-Cooler-Riser_W0QQitemZ160219275738QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item160219275738&_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318) or just use a magazine/yellow pages0

Can't answer your exact question but consider the following when using your laptop.
most take in air from underneath and blow it out the side - so ensure whatever it's on allows airflow - ie not physically sat on ones lap.
also consider the Hard disk drive - it has moving parts and doesn't like being banged about. Laptops are portable - but that doesn't mean they should be moved around when turned on, the life span of the HDD will be greatly reduced and your likely to have more data errors. Having said that HDD drives these days are well buffered in terms of shocks, but I'd still use it on a fixed rigid surface.

Something like this would enable her to set it on her lap more comfortably:

Or if you want a table, this should do the trick:

I wouldnt recommend sitting down with a laptop on your lap, its not the ideal solutions, why not have the laptop on a table and sit on a chairNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

We have his and hers PC's but she wanted to have the option of being in whichever room she fancies - hence buying the laptop.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. Just looked and £50 minimum order but there are similar items in a local store which I will take a look at. But can you use them when you are standing on your head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build.
