Condensor dryer placement

Hi
We have just had a new floor in the kitchen & wanted to move things around for better placement . We have a great little space were the condensor dryer could fit. But inside this space it has the gas pipe that runs up into the combi boiler what i would like to know is 1 is it safe 2 could i cover the pipe to make it safe or 3 just leave it & stick the fridge there instead cheers...
