I nagged MrJudi to take me to Cornish Goldsmiths earlier on in the year. I more or less had to push him and the two lads through the door but their heart stopped dead when they saw the car that was used in 'Back To The Future' in there (god knows what it was doing in a jewellers
. Also there was the Aston Martin used by James Bond. (That kept their interest for a few minutes longer). However, the jewelery was spectacular and although i dropped a few hints here and there, i came out with only the jewellery i went in with  .
Shame on you Martin for not speaking to Kylie!!!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
But I thought Kylie was at home with her family in Oz recovering... I'm even sure I was recently shown a photo of her in a celeb gossip mag with very little hair covered up by a headscarf.
Is she really back in England and getting better? Martin - please confirm it was REALLY Kylie you saw. I really hope so!0 -
As much as I sympathise with Kylie, many thousands of women are afflicted by this disease but most don't have the cushion of great wealth to ease their problems. My friend Christine fought breast cancer, but she also had to hold down a job and take care of her family. Sadly she died. Christine and women like her are the real gutsy fighters. They have to work, take care of children, and then go through all the after effects of chemo and radiotherapy. Kylie doesn't have to lift a finger, and I'll bet that she is never kept waiting for her treatment. It makes me angry when people consider Kylie to be an inspiration. She can afford the best health care money can buy and has an army of lackeys around her. If she was a working mother waiting for treatment from Britain's overloaded NHS then I would tend to agree she is an inspiration.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
