different sites such as Uswitch/energyhelpline.com and others each give me a different figure for my annual use of electricity/gas (dual fuel) when i input the same monthly payments in each site.
Am trying to find the best energy deal for me

do you know your average consumption in KW that may be better as maybe if its based on what you spend there is always a catch up mnth when you either owe them if your underpaying or the other way round. If you input exactly what you used over a 12 month period it should give a better comparison0
