The legal aid scheme has now changed and there is no longer any allowance exempt from the statutory charge. The limit was first of all lifted to £3000 but has now been removed altogether so the whole of any settlement is now subject to the charge.0

Yes, and also interestingly it has now changed so if financial matters are agreed without court proceedings being taken you wont have to pay any solicitors costs!!!0
