had an offer do i accept??

hi i tracked down 8 credit card companies ive previously used and have claims in with all of them at present with interest.
egg was an interesting one they say they have always charged £12 so refuse to pay up but on recieving copies of previous statements i realised they have charged me payment protection i hadnt requested! so i asked for that back and have just recieved a cheque for £600!! RESULT.
The others have just sent me offers of the difference without interest asking for me to sign and agree to settle and mbna has sent me 2 cheques for the difference without interest. Has anyone else been in this situation?? do i accept or go further for the full amount most of the charges relate to between 2004-2006. Im tempted to call it a day and accept but wondered if its now worth trying the ombudsman?? any ideas

Well done... just wondering, how did you manage to get ur moneyback for the payment protection? Did you have any proof saying that you actually didn't want it?
