  • My wife just joined in July. I do have to say it seems the perfect job for her as we have 2 young children. Every month her sales have gone up, from £700 in the first month to £1600 last month, she already has £1500 sales this month with 9 parties to go. Two of the parties in the last couple of weeks have been over £500 in sales. Not only have we now got a very decent part time second income she also gets loads of products as bonuses.

Does the tax man have to know about all this extra income? ;)
I let my mind wander and it never came back!
  • Hi guys, is anyone here from in or around Durham who would like to sign me up? I have sent an online request but if I can help somebody here, I'd rather do that ;)

  • Hi,
I live in the Bristol area, and am wondering if there is someone out there who would be willing to send me a catalogue? I have a couple of neighbours who tend to place big orders when I have a party but don't know any consultants in the area.
If you can do this for me pls pm.
    Ta

Hi there, I recently started TBSAH and I purchased the £40 kit to get started. There was an additional option to have the Christmas kit but to be honest you dont need it.
With my initial £40 outlay I received 20 catalogues with the products (the products came to around £160). This many is ok if your just going to start with getting orders from your friends or family. But you do need to purchase more and this is best done each time to do an order for someone to avoid paying extra postage.
I would say unless you already have an abundant family, workplace, school etc it is hard to get off the ground.
I havent needed to do any parties yet to do my orders, I have placed over £600 worth of orders to date. There is a way of collecting all your orders and lumping them on the system as a party. That way you make yourself the host of the party, accumulate £230 worth of initial orders and use the 70% discount to order further stock. I have over £300 worth of stock now for an outlay of just £60. Just takes a bit of working out and manipulating. But it can be done.
Make sure you understand the way the commission is paid before doing TBSAH.
If I am honest its quite time consuming to get started. By the looks of the feedback of many other consultants the lack of stock issues have been a problem for some and also the fact the bodyshop online have been running better offers and free delivery. TBSAH finally made everything 30% off from today which has helped alot of consultants.
I have found TBSAH advice a little patronising at times and what works for some doesnt necessarily work for others. You need to find your niche in your community to get into. If you can see yourself being able to do that, then I would say it is well worth doing. I am still a little 50/50 as to how much longer I will continue.
  • I applied to become a consultant just over a week ago and l have not yet received a response, does it usually take this long? I already have two parties pencilled in the diary. Quite keen to get started now!
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks :)
