Hey everyone,
I'm going to do my first lot of 'party in a bag' tomorrow for the ladies in my street, as party bookings aren't particulary going well for me at the moment! I'm quite shy, and don't really know how to start the conversation with the neighbours i'm not already friendly with. Has anyone got any tips?
Thanks!Current Student Loan to pay off: £21,000Current Debt to pay off as of Sept '09: £870.00Total raised for charity so far: £15.00To be debt free by: asap!0 -
Hi Steph88_
What about if you go along the lines of knocking on doors in your street armed with prize draw slips and letting them know that you are a Body Shop consultant and that you are offering them a chance to win a goodie bag of gifts when they fill out one of your prize draw slipsHave a little chit chat and offer them a catalogue/party in a bag and tell them that you have also included a preview September catalogue,(if you have them).
Put in your party bag about 3 catalogues, order forms,a pen and a sample - again if you have themWhat you could do is offer the catalogue for them to have a look at and then ask them do you know anyone or work with any ladies who may want to have a look at the catalogues themselves? If they answer yes then suggest that they have a party bag instead and that if any ladies give orders to her you will reward her with some free gifts
That way if orders are a bit lower you can make up a little goodie bag with cotton pads, a shower gel and bath lily
Hope that helps hunny and good luck

That was great help thanks Jenny!
A lot of people weren't in, so I can try again for round 2 later, but i managed to find people interested in 'party in a bag' which i'm extremely pleased about as I must get my RQV up by the end of the month!
The goodie bag was a great incentive!

Hi everyone. Have been reading thru' as many posts as poss last three days and really like the sound of TBSAH as I love the products - thanks everyone. So thinking now of joining but am concerned about initial outlay, would I only have to buy the start-up kit or would I be tempted to buy lots of stuff so I can show it to people? how much would it cost for host gifts? Do I pay for training days? When is the best time to join as I obviously would like the xmas trade but don't want my initial parties to be too early for it either? would I be able to 'make-up' someone as I can hardly manage my own face? The other thing I wondered was is it better for an existing consultant to recruit me or would I just go on the website
sorry for the long post and thanks in advance for your help:hello:there's me, OH, DS 10, DD 7,
and our deranged border collie - sadly put to sleep Aug 23rd 09now have our GSD x collie oct 10

Hey all!
In answer to your question about the autumn trend makeup moonflower, you might know this already by now... But it's available to us through the full assortment! And it's gorgeous stuff, i agree!
I'm in my 3rd month that I've got to put through the £150 minimum by the end of it! I'm not sure which one counts as the total.. The RQV or the personal volume? My personal volume is more so i'd have to get slightly fewer sales in the next week, so just wanna make sure how much more I have to put through!?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer that!:)Current Student Loan to pay off: £21,000Current Debt to pay off as of Sept '09: £870.00Total raised for charity so far: £15.00To be debt free by: asap!0
