  • What recession??

One of my consultants had a £350 party last night!!

I have to agree with you about the sales... it really has affected us & our business.
The other thing a lot of my consultants have said is that there are things available in the shop that we can't get & they're not even shop exclusives! We always thought that apart from shop exclusives we should be able to get everything too... consultant support told one of my girls... well you can't thats just the way it is!

Roll on February I think... brand new pwp & host rewards... a fresh injection of fire into our businesses I reckon! xx

I have my first party on the 2nd Feb and I have managed to book 6 in altogether before the 19th Feb for my sucess start. I have my training this morning.
Any hints tips? I am a little apprehensive but so excited at the same time?

Well, as mentioned I have now set up a simple forum for you to all discuss BSAH.

I understand that I can't put links to sites in a post! However, if you add ".co.uk" to the end of my username, then when the page loads click the "forums" link at the top. The next page will then have a link to the BSAH forum.

I hope this is all OK and what people would like. I've only done a basic set up so feel free to post on there and let me know what needs adding :) - I also know the top logo needs changing somewhat!

    Hi there!
If you have a look on the first page, theres a list of consultants, someone may be near to you. But anyone will be happy to help you with info!
Are you thinking of becomming a consultant? Its a great opportunity to make a bit more money now the 'credit crunch' is officially here, but i would still do it even if i won the lottery as its a really great atmosphere, really rewarding and great fun too! If you need any more basic info, and a few more facts etc just let me know!

    Hi Marie!
Wow, thats an impressive line up of parties, and is the best way to kick start your business! Im looking a little empty on my diary dates for Feb, i really need to get into gear again! Have you had your Bronze training yet for the basic make-over/facial etc? That always gives a bit of a confidence boost. But i just found that going through the party script, and catalogue can be a fantastic starting point. Get your manager to email you a few party games (or i can send you a few if you want) that always breaks the ice and gets everyone relaxed. Just be yourself, smile and you'll enjoy it too! Ive made some really good friends with hosts, and now when they re-book its just like a night in with the girls round...dont be scared to give personal stories, and honest opinions on the products. You'll find its not half as scary as you think....especially as the first parties are usually your friends and family you've roped in to help you out!

Thats a thought actually too....do any of you consultants have any games to share with us all? I swap games with my friend in Newcastle who gets different ones from her regional manager which is a great way to build up a fool proof games list to avoid playing the same ones with re-booking hosts! If anyones up for it, il search through mine now!

    Ladies,

Can anyone suggest a foundation that is perfect for people with very rosy cheeks? My host has tried everything and I am not sure what to recommend. She has fair skin and would just like to cover them up a bit.

    All suggestions very welcome!

I recommend to hosts and customers the all in one face base - I used it for my redness and it's great!!

I have a question......this is my 1st Spring with BSAH - I'm thinking of fully stocking the new roseflower makeup range - does anyone know whether this is a limited range (like the xmas makeup) and only available for a limited time or is it her all year?? I don't wanna splash out for nothing.

Also I notice the Spring catalogue is Jan-March - I take it we'll have a a Summer one then??

    Cheers ladies x
  • Thanks for the tip! I did try the all in one base and it only covered it slightly:( I'm going to try and see if I can get her a darker shade, maybe the 04 as mine is the 02.

From what I understand, the spring trend make up is just for this three month season unless it proves popular and then will be carried on. Personally, I love the lipsticks and the roseflower blusher, so if we don't carry on with it I will nab it for myself!!
  • Hi ladies,

What about setting a task for the week?

I want to do a party game that incorporates all of this seasons new stock (yes, a little late as the year has already started, I know!) but is anyone keen to do this with me and submit your games next week Sunday and we can all swop?

Hi all. I have updated the Body Shop at Home forum and changed the logo at the top so it's more appropriate, but I will design a better one later on.

For those that haven't registered yet, visit my site (add .co.uk to my username), click the forum link at the top right, then take the Body Shop at Home option.
