I want to download Foxit Reader on my vista ultimate system,I see there are several choices, which version should i use.

I would say that the first one (installer) from this link would be easiest.
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/reader_2/down_reader.htm
Downloading that and running the installer will install the program and automatically make the correct settings on your PC. Hmn, not much success. I downloaded from your link and as far as I know it worked. But when I clicked on a PDF file, a box greets me saying "You have chosen to open etc" and I'm told it will open with Adobe Reader (default). So whereas before a firefox box would open, it dosen't.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Save a pdf on your computer somewhere, then right click it. Select open with, then browse. You should be able to find foxit reader on the list, select it, check 'always open with this program'.0
