Tescos 50 pounds voucher problem

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had problems with the tescos car insurance offer which ran in around July 2005. You had to spend 25 pounds (I think) in store to receive a voucher for 50 pounds off car insurance. The offer was valid for either new customers or those renewing their insurance between certain dates.
I phoned them to renew and gave them my voucher number and waited two months for the cash back to arrive. It didn't! I phoned customer services a couple of months ago and they said there was no record of the voucher on my renewal forms but they would look for the original call which was recorded and amend the details so I would receive the cash back. Months later I still have not received anything! Is anybody esle having this problem? The only reason I renewed with tescos was that their quote was only cheaper with this offer.
