Sunday times £1 milliion cash card any good

Hi just scratched the card and I find I can call to claim prize will cost £9 for call to claim upwards of £10 and also another £9 for treats ranging from £50 vouchers at boots, £100 vouchers at M &S , £2000 vouchers at thomas cooke, etc, is this a scam anyone out there done it?

|Pretty much a scam. The usual prize to win is a really cheap off-brand digital camera that costs £6.50 in P&P to redeem. There ARE actually cash prizes, but winning one is very rare (my husband's ex won £1k with them once, but I've never heard of anyone else). The thing is you never know what you've won until you phone the 0900 number, so your prize could be worth less than the price of the call!

Last one I bothered with was a bunch of "hotel vouchers". However, they make you stay a minimum of 2 nights and eat like 2 meals a day at the hotel - which more than makes up the cost of the "free" stay! Total scam.
