Paying off M & S card

Hi
There's probably a simple answer to this ...but I'm not sure! My sister wants to pay off her M & S card which has high monthly interest payments - and transfer this to her barclaycard which is cheaper. Will M & S take this arrangement over the phone, or is there a better way to sort it out?

Hello,

If Barclaycard offers this as a service then your sister should be able to a balance transfer online via the barclaycard website. It can be done over the phone also yes. It will take a few days to go through though so make sure any payments that are due are kept up to date

You can also do it through your own online bank account, you just need the details on the back of the bill to do the transfer.

Just popped out to sort it out online for her and should be done in 3 days!
I've only been here a couple of hours and have changed my bank account to alliance and leicester, saved my sister from interest charges...now going to see what I can do for my Amex card (like dump it...)
