What gives you that idea.?
No it is chargeable at whatever 0844 band rate it is on These range from 1p up to 5p.The same amount is charged 24/7,their are no peak, evening,or weekend variations.It is not included in any landline providers free call packages either.PF.0 -

Most providers charge the same as BT for calls to 0844.But Onetel do charge 10% more.PF.0
