Hi Everyone.

Thanks so much for the suggestions - they're all great. I really like the Wellsfield Farm lodges so going to give them a try as an option.

To my surprise, came in from work tonight and had a voicemail from a place I had emailed earlier in the week. They were my first choice but could only sleep 8. However, the owner has confirmed she could get 12 people in at a push and they have another house just round the corner that we could fit the rest in. Chuffed (especially as it is within very easy walking distance from Pevos etc)!!!

P.S. - my dad used to live in the Old Schoolhouse just on the edge of Fallin so know it reasonably well. Not a place I would enjoy tring to get back to after being out on the tiles!!! :beer:

yeah they would lol But the caravan homes are BEFORE fallin and not actually in it lol

But saying that - my family are from fallin (were not the hub cap stealers!) and its change so much from when i was little. We used to go up every year and i used to be able to go to the park or anywhere. When i was 12 the whole village changed. They had new people moved into the council houses and a lot of problems with drugs. We only go up to visit family now and only stay the weekend lol Think every village/town/city has it problems, its just knowing where to go where its safe.

Look at Nottingham - Biggest gun city in the UK - Wouldnt DARE drive through St Anns but then theres other areas that REALLY nice

lol its not that far a walk - well they never seem that far when your drunk anyway lol

(has anyone ACTUALLY decided to walk home from quite far away or is it just me lol. Standing waiting for a taxi, it never turns up "i know lets WALK it" lol )
