Martin has got me all in a panic after his little outburst on GMTV this morning!
I am currently on economy 7 for my electricity via EDF & Standard tariff for my Gas via EON.
I pay £37 a month for gas & a quartly bill for electricity of approx £170.
Should I cap? Should I Fix?
Help!

I am even more confused by the price comparisons I am doing.
They are telling me that on the Scottish power website I could save £147 a year by switching to their fixed price online deal.
But why is everyone else saying that their prices have gone up?
So will I save or not?0 -
EDF have raised their prices. If your moving from them now you will be making a saving. If you wait until the other companies raise there prices you will probably won't be able to save anything.
I've just signed up to the Scottish Power capped until Aug 2009 offer. It is 12% more than my current Atlantic deal but as the other companies are predicted to raise their prices to match EDF I should be better of in the long run. Also by going via the Quidco website you get £62 cashback for doing it.Steve0 -
its £72 quidco fr scottish power at the moment ;-)0

I have blinking missed out on the SP one as I left it last night due to sorting dinner etc out! Very annoyed with myself.
I am now currently on hold to Eon to do it over the phone.
I can't do it via Quidco as it is recognising I am a Gas customer & wants me to phone the blinking number.
Not a good start to the day!!!
Just had to get that off my chest!0 -
