Changing from pre-payment meters
This may sound like a very stupid question.......!!
My partner and I have just bought our first flat and the gas and electricity are prepayment meters. British gas are coming to take both of these out today. How long do I have to wait before I can change suppliers or can I do it immediately? Any advice would be appreciated!

You can switch providers immediately. It'll take a few weeks to process, mind. You have no contract with British Gas, so just use uswitch, or a similar site, to find out the best deal and switch.0
