I would think the bin, I don't think wax will break down into anything useful for the garden.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

can't you roll it up, put a wick in and use it for a candle?:Dlook after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves.0

No - it wont' compost or decompose. In theory, you could melt it down and reuse it, but as it's "food grade" I doubt it would be particularly pleasant or useful.
Whilst it seems a waste, I can't see anyway of reusing or recycling it.
Black Bomber is excellent though, isn't it? Snowdonia dairy, I think ...Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
Dont chuck it just yet....
Wax can be a realy good seal for wounds on trees and large shrubs. To travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -
Mmmmmmmmm black bomber yum
sorry, I've got nothing useful to say lol............I am a coffee bean0 -
Mmmm we love this cheese too. If you go to their dairy or the website you can buy the big wheels of it, it's the cheapest way to buy it (freeze what you can't pig within the first week or so!)
The wax can't be composted, it is a by-product of the petrochemical industry and sometimes it has PVA in it as well. It can be handy for minor repairs though, just melt it down when you need it for odd little jobs!0 -
i was soo hopeful it could be composted!!!
i ate a whole one to myself last night my excuse is it's a craving haha mmmmm
