My DH is about 18 stone.
Most step ladders say they hold up to 15.
Is there anywhere that sells step ladders for men of 18 stone or more?
I mean the steps that when open are like an A, the sort you use for changing light fittings & getting into the loft.
Thank you

It's not a set of strong step ladders your DH needs, it's a good dietician and a personal trainer."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

Trade or industrial steps will be the way to go. Not only are they a lot stronger, they generally feel much safer aswell.0

Have a look at screwfix as they list the maximum loads for their ladders. Have a look here: http://www.screwfix.com/cats/16/Access-Storage . My Dad just bought some new stepladders from Screwfix to replace the ones he had which were older than me! It was the first time he'd bought from them and he was impressed with their service as well as his ladders.
