where do i stand ?

i posted an item today recorded first class to the address given by paypal.

i have just had an e-mail from the buyer asking if i had sent the item to the new address she had just registered.(old one still showing).,

there was no other address on the order.

so what happens now ,if she doesnt recieve the item will i have to refund the item .? and be out both the money and the item

    if you posted to the confirmed PP address then i would say its the buyers fault
    trust me it happens more often than you would think!

    Like custardy says as long as you sent the item tracked to a confirmed address the buyer can't do a paypal claim against you as long as item shows as tracked to delivery You can enter the tracking details in paypal as well to pre empt any problems.

    However should itme fail to track to a signature, as many recorded items do, then you will lose a claim.

    Yes, this is an issue and the one I would be most worried about.

    Also, as from yesterday, every address has to be verified just like Special Delivery, a right pita, I wouldn't mind so much if they actually got a signature and tracked online.
