Well i am a pakistani born british citezen. Going to America for the second time. I have a british passport, Do i need a visa?

No you don't, you'll be covered by the visa waiver program.
You'll need to have the details of where you are staying to hand for the landing card.
Be prepared to be held back at immigration for "further questions", although (certainly in Chicago) the staff are incredibly polite and the delay to the journey is usually no more than 10 minutes, but it feels like longer.
I am in the same position as you (Pak. born), I went to the Chicago last week for the 4th time in a year, I have been held back twice, but this time all I got was a "Welcome back sir"
Remember if you do get held back to answer further security questions, the extra checks they are making are for your benefit as much as anyone else's - so be polite and don't take it personally!
