You could try asking on freecycle, it's worth a try, because quite a lot of people are converting to the 'whirlygig':eek:, to free up space in their gardens. Make one , approx sizes,3 meters length 45mm x35mm planed timber, no splinters ( buy a piece bit longer than you require you can cut to preferred length at home)
