E-ON to Scottish Power Capped ?
Options
This is the 3rd time i have just about done the transfer and stopped as the figures don't make sense.
I'm currently on Energy On-line Extra Saver 5 i'm paying at the moment £60 for both gas and elec which i suspect is a bit low going on what i used to pay EDF.
Anyway putting in the details that i'm using £420 gas and £480 electricity (total £900 per annum) which is more realist results in the following from Scottish Power

Fixed Price Energy 2009 Online No Standing Charge £1209.26 No savings [/FONT]

If you can try put in your actual usage per year in kwh instead of £ - that will be the best way to compare as it sounds as if your just guessing your usage at present.
I have just fixed with SP from E-On Saver 5, well it's in progress anyway, and I worked out that it would only take 1 increase of 18% for me to be better off with SP.
The V5 is a great deal & with their 18% discount included I will be paying £900 all in for 4255 units of elect & 17740 gas - well that's what I worked it out at anyway.
Add 18% price increase on to this then I'm up at £1059 - same as what I have been quoted from SP - so in total £159 more less £75 cashback makes it only £84 more.
It's a case of what you believe - do you believe that there are at least 2 price increases to come in the near future as most folk are predicting? EDF have started the ball rolling, the rest will follow soon.0
