    lol, very amusing. Frak, relax.

    With regards to the OP, it could be a memory problem, maybe even a cpu problem, or something wrong with a hard disk controller.

    Firstly, like Mr Skint said, how are you installing Windows? Via Cd, a hard drive directory etc...

    Also you may want to try switching the drives back around, see if it works then. Or even remove one of the drives and install with the bare minimum.

    Yeah i have tried switching hard drives around, and am installing windows from cd, which i have done several times with this this pc. It seems to be an intermittent problem. I'm sure the ram is ok as i tested it in my own computer (similar spec) Am begininning to suspect it could be a motherboard/cpu problem. One of the hard drives is only a couple of months old and had only been used as a backup drive.
    Errrr...come back later ;)
