I'm trying to find out if there is a website which tracks business sale prices. There are a couple of businesses for sale but I'd like to know how much they sold for last time. Does anyone know of a source where this can be obtained as they don't appear on our property etc.
Any help would be great.

I know of no such site. Where are they and are they freehold or leasehold? The usual sites WILL report the prices on freeholds, as will LR, but only the bricks and mortor components .The actual selling price could of been a little, or a lot, more to include the fixtures and goodwill.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. Just to add to chickmug's reply ..... the price of a commercial property might well be radically different to the price of the business occupying that property.
The property would simply be the freehold, plus the current tenant for the duration of the current lease.
The business could be everything and might include stock, fixtures & fittings and goodwill etc.
Either way, I know of no source that tracks either the sale of commercial property or the sale of businesses.
AFAIK - nethouseprices and the Land Registry do NOT hold the details of commercial properties e.g. our village pub (both a freehold commercial property and a business) is not on either site.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -

It is more hit and miss than for private houses but freehold businesses such as pubs, hotels, and the like, do often appear on the LR. Are you absolutely sure the pub is freehold?A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. Yup - and it's a free house. It's on there for the sale in 2001, but not this latest one which completed around April
might just be late getting onto the LR

You could just go down and ask them.
Or ask the estate agent.0
