When do you register child for primary school?

No problem......they don't make it clear do they? I was asking exactly the same questions to anyone with older children 3 years ago. Now my eldest is due to start year 1

In which case, the best people to ask are the school. Go along & ask to have a look at the nursery. Ask them if you can put his name down on the waiting list now. There might not be a list for his starting year yet, but there is no harm in asking and getting your name down early. It's one less thing to do later!
